Energize Delaware has extended the Large-Scale grant for the Empowerment Grant Program (EGP). The grant was opened on April 19, 2021 and now will be due on Friday, July 23, with a review and decision to be in September 2021. Applicants are encouraged to submit new and innovative energy efficiency programs that reach low-income Delmarva Power customers in Delaware.
Grant requests can be range from $100,000 to $1 million. Currently the Empowerment Grant is also accepting Community-Scale grants that will allow for awards of up to $100,000. The Community-scale application is on-going rolling application. Both grants can be found on the Empowerment website at www.empowergrantde.org.
